    April 27, 2017 - Angelo State University alumnus Dr. U. Shivraj Sohur, a clinician at the Internal Medicine Research Unit of Pfizer Inc.’s Worldwide Research and Development in Cambridge, Mass., will deliver the commencement address during ASU’s spring graduation ceremonies on Saturday, May 13, in the Junell Center/Stephens Arena.

    April 24, 2017 - Dr. Loren Ammerman of the Angelo State University biology faculty has been awarded a $26,998 grant sub-award by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to participate in a two-year research project dedicated to protecting an endangered bat species native to Southwest Texas.

    April 19, 2017 - Tyler Hoover, a senior at Water Valley High School, has been awarded a Distinguished Carr Scholarship worth up to $60,000 to attend Angelo State University this fall.
