Information for:

Joy Morton

Much of my early theatre background occurred while I was hanging by my britches and/or learning on the fly. I directed 38 one act plays and numerous musicals at Friona High School. I have worked with the Friona Fine Arts Council Summer Drama Program for 45+ years. Two of my shows qualified for the State Meet: ’75 and ’99, and numerous others advanced beyond district and area. My judging experience includes District, Bi-District, Area and Region. Theatre is a slice of life; take me there. Currently I am an adjunct instructor for Amarillo College where I teach Public Speaking, Business and Professional Speaking, and Interpersonal Communication.
