Performance Analysis System for Colleges of Education (PACE) This PACE report offers a useful prototype of a reporting system for universities and their Colleges of Education centered on public schools. PACE is offered in support of the teacher preparation programs associated with the CREATE consortium. This analysis is intended to be used as a planning and resource tool that can assist teacher education leaders in assessing needs, targeting refinements in their preparation programs and evaluating their organizational effects over time.

TEA Principal Survey

Survey Questions

 

Senate Bill (SB) 174, passed by the 81st Texas Legislature, and the Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Chapter 229, Accountability System for Educator Preparation includes four accountability standards. Standard two will be met by the distribution of a Principal Survey that will serve two purposes:
  • Results will measure the performance of beginning teachers, and
  • The results will measure the program’s effectiveness in preparing program participants to succeed in the classroom. The program participant exit survey will measure the educator preparation program’s effectiveness in preparing participants to succeed in the classroom.
 The SBEC approved the principal and program participant survey on April 9, 2010 and was distributed to the principals of beginning teachers on May 1, 2010. These are the results of the pilot survey. The results were compiled by TEA and the TEXAS COMPREHENSIVE CENTER at SEDL.
TEA Status Letter 2016 This letter details the results of the compliance review performed by the Texas Education Agency Division of Educator Standards in 2016.

Candidate EPP Completion Survey

This is a survey taken by candidates completing the Educator Preparation Program. Candidates provide feedback on their training at ASU.

Teacher Job Fair Survey Results

Survey administered to representatives from school districts, Education Service Centers, and other hiring entities at our annual Teacher Job Fair about the performance of our completers.

TEA Candidate Exit Survey

Survey administered by the Texas Education Agency to all candidates completing an Educator Preparation Program. 
The Higher Education Act of 2008 requires all Educator Preparation Programs to provide certification pass rates, demographics, and other information to the general public. This is a copy of the report for Angelo State University.
