Angelo State University offers a number of options to help you further your education. Whether you plan to attend classes on campus or access courses from your computer or laptop, we have a degree plan that will work for you. Listed below are the types of programs available.

Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate (AU-ABC) Cooperative Program

The ASU Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Security Studies offers three bachelor’s degrees that align with the Air Force vision and meet the Air University’s near-term goal of providing enhanced educational opportunities for the enlisted force. The AU-ABC initiative establishes partnerships between the Air Force and accredited civilian higher education institutions to offer baccalaureate degree opportunities via distance learning.

Distance Learning

ASU offers several degree programs that can be completed online, including two master’s degrees through the Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Security Studies. Other areas of study with online programs include curriculum and instruction, nursing and psychology.

On-Campus Academics

Students who plan to attend ASU’s main campus can choose from more than 100 majors and concentrations that lead to 42 undergraduate degrees, 25 master’s degrees, one doctoral degree and one associate degree.

Steps to get you started

Once you apply and have been admitted to Angelo State, follow these steps to help you get ready for classes.

  1. Use your Campus ID (CID) from your acceptance letter to set up your Technology Access Account.
  2. Obtain and activate your ASU OneCard.
  3. Contact your academic department for information about student advising.
  4. Visit our Military Tuition and Financial Aid web page to learn more about financial aid opportunities.
  5. Access RamPort, the university’s information portal, to register for courses, pay for classes and check your ASU student e-mail account.
