Arts at ASU
Arts at ASU presents music and theatre entertainment to the Concho Valley. You can enjoy up to 10 music events and six theatre productions each season.
Located on the first floor in the Vincent Building, the newly renovated ASU Planetarium now contains the distinctive combination of a Sci-Dome HD digital projector and large tilted dome theatre.
West Texas Collection
The West Texas Collection is the region’s most extensive collection of West Texas historical and genealogical manuscripts, records, books, pictorial and other related materials. It also serves as the primary depository for documents and records related to the history of Angelo State.
Culture and Connection
Since 2003, the ASU Alumni Association has hosted pre-game tailgate pep rallies, known as Ram Jam, prior to Rams home football games. Ram Jam is a growing tradition here at Angelo State, and typical Ram Jams can include:
- Performances from local bands
- Free food and refreshments
- Various freebies, such as shirts or other promotional items
The ASU Bookstore is located in the Houston Harte University Center. The bookstore offers textbooks for classes, as well as school supplies and gift and spirit items. Great services and a variety of selections are available, and a portion of every sale supports campus services and student activities.
