Girls Night Out

Girls Night Out is a free event aiming to raise awareness about physical, mental, and emotional health for women during their college years. Set in a fun and interactive environment, this event provides an opportunity for college women to learn new skills to stay safe, protect themselves, and make good personal choices while in college. Students, staff, and faculty at Angelo State University and Howard College, as well as women stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base, are invited to attend.

This year at Girls Night Out, nationally recognized keynote speaker Ed Smart will be the keynote speaker. For the benefit of all children, he lobbied Congress and the Senate tirelessly to prevent further abductions and to rescue missing children.

Other speaker include, Stephanie May Wilson, author of “The Lipstick Gospel”, Catie Wiedenhofer is a National radKIDS and R.A.D. Instructor and Dr. Teresa Baker, OB/GYN from the Texas Tech Health Sciences center in Amarillo, Texas.
