Residence Hall Network Access
Students living in the residence halls have access to the internet from their own computers in their rooms, without the need to pay for a third-party vendor. Network connections are available in all residence halls on campus.
Network access for students on campus is provided using Safe Connect. To maintain security, Safe Connect requires that computers connecting to the campus network are updated with the latest security patches and are running an up-to-date virus scanner.
Remote Drive Access allows students the ability to access their documents and files stored on the P: drive from their residence halls.
Students accessing the ASU network will be required to agree with the university’s information security policies which references copyright and digital media rights.
Wired Network Connections
Wired network connections are located in each room of the Residence Halls. If you would like to use a wired Ethernet connection, you will need to submit the Wired Network Connection form, and a network technician will contact you to configure the connection.
Download the documentation for how to connect to the internet via dorm Ethernet port.
